From the makers of Ted Todd comes Karta — the innovative, plastic-free alternative to LVT and laminate. In our showroom you will find the Recycled Leather Series: wood-effect floors made entirely from natural and recycled materials.
At the heart of every board is leather reclaimed from the shoe industry and diverted from landfill. It sits within a five-layer construction, between a cork base for comfort and PEFC-certified wood fibre for stability, and it brings qualities of its own — natural warmth, a quieter room, and the strength to cope with the busiest parts of a family home.
The designs come straight from the Ted Todd and Woodworks archives: real timber floors, scanned in high definition and printed with no repeated board across twenty planks. Eighteen tones run from pale and understated to dark and aged, in wide plank and oversized herringbone.
Every floor is finished with Karta Plated®, a plastic-free natural resin topcoat with a super-matt look, a water-resistant surface and an AC5 durability rating — the standard specified for high-traffic commercial interiors. A simple click system keeps installation quick and clean.
