The Brief
Our clients had recently renovated their large Victorian detached home in West Kirby. This is one of the Wirral Peninsula’s most sought-after villages. They had opened up the ground floor to create a flowing, connected living space. It’s the kind of generous, light-filled interior that these late Victorian properties do so well when updated sympathetically.
The brief was clear. They wanted a floor that would unite the entire ground floor. It needed to complement the period character of the property. Importantly, it also had to work beautifully with the newly installed underfloor heating. Above all, it had to feel genuinely bespoke. Off-the-shelf simply wouldn’t do here.
