1930’s Home Chester
A real transformation was achieved on this sanding job.
When we first visited the blocks were stained with a red/brown stain that was heavily worn and dull. The house was being transformed by the new owners and they wanted to lighten and brighten the whole floor.
Several areas of blocks were also loose, we were able to uplift, clean and re-fit the blocks giving a sound floor to sand. Once sanded the floor was exposed as a beautiful light Teak. Ted Todd oilwood traffic was used to finish the floor; the oil enhanced lacquer brings out the grain and warmth of the wood whilst giving excellent durability.
